Stylish Sunday’s: Basically

I never really get a great start off to the year, because I’m always really sick until midspring when it starts to warm up. So for a little while longer it’s going to be just stylish sunday’s posts until flu season is over.

I think I took these last wednesday, I wasn’t to sick, but I was still feeling really lazy.

Outfit : V.S. Most Loved Leggings, Sweater: Maurices, Glasses: Kate Spade, Necklace: Jewelmint, Mug: Target last year.

Even Howl was feeling the laziness of the day:

Since I was feeling really sick I just tossed my hair up into a bun, but I wanted to feel cute so I added a frenchbraid in the back:

Stylish Sundays: Back To School

It’s back to school time everywhere, which always makes me nostalgic for when I was little. Not high school, but 3rd grade because that was my favorite year ever. Back to School then meant new crayons and saddle shoes and fresh pencils.

That year I probably wore something very 90’s like maybe plaid pants with a peplum and suspenders and a shirt that had a now on it. (No seriously, that’s what I wore. Stop laughing, it was cute…then)

So I decided that I’d put together an outfit that is wear if I were going back to school today.

Shirt: Feed for Target Skirt: The Limited Shoes: Old Navy (but a present from a friend) Necklace: Gift from a friend.

I love this outfit. The top fulfills my need to do good, because it was part of Feed’s Target campaign. If you don’t know what Feed is or what they do, there is more information here.
I’ve had this skirt for a while now and it’s a bit to big so I felt like I could never make it work. I wore it once before here. But I didn’t love how it turned out. However my dad taught me to sew so I took it in a bit, and now it’s perfect.
And these booties were a gift from my sister in law T. I absolutely adore these boots and they’re perfect for fall.

Stylish Sundays: July 4th Inspiration

I was getting dressed one morning and realized I looked really patriotic. At first I thought about saving this post for July 4th, because I tend to just wear cozy shorts and a tee on the actual 4th out of practicality and sheer laziness.

But then I decided I should share the outfit now, so you guys could get an idea of something different to wear.

Dress: H&M (Similar), Chambray: Feed For Target (Similar), Shoes: Sperry Topsider (Similar)

My makeup is my bog standard usual: Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer, Hourglass Hidden Concealer, Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush, The Balm Mary Lou Manizer Highlighter, Marc Jacobs The Lolita Palette, YSL Shocking Mascara, YSL Cool Guava Sheer Volupte Candy Glossy Balm.

I curled my hair with my flat iron and then pulled it back with a Red Spotted Emi-Jay Hairtie. I told you I’m obsessed with these ties, I don’t use anything else in my hair.

I wore one my favorite necklaces which is affectionately called “Tiny Owl” in my house. Similar here.

I absolutely love these sunglasses, they’re the Madewell Drifter glasses and I feel like this style is absolutely timeless, you can get similar ones to mine here.

I bought these Sperry’s from Journey’s last year and I still absolutely adore them. They’re so comfortable and worn in and perfect. I can easily see wearing these til they fall apart, which will be a very long time from now. Sperry’s are incredibly well made.

Stylish Sundays: Spring Denim

I mentioned in my Sperry Haul that I would show you how I planned on wearing my new Sperrys. I decided to go with one of my go to Spring outfits. It’s really casual and perfect for shopping or lunch with friends.

I don’t usually wear double denim, but when I do I always make sure they aren’t the same shade, and that the bottoms are darker.

I am still completely in love with my new Sperrys. They’re so comfortable and the pink laces I added make them so much fun for spring and summer.

Home Things

I have a slight obsession with Target for Home things. It’s probably a really good thing that I live an hour away from my closest Target. I posted this picture on Instagram about 3 weeks ago:

There’s a pretty random assortment of house things in the cart, like the method cleaner/detergent, some hangers, placemats, a new broom and some pot holders, but none of that stuff is super exciting. However there is a sneak peek into what this post is about.

First I was super excited to find some Valentines Day socks, because I don’t know if you know Target socks are my favorite, and the Valentines ones are my very favorite.

The best thing is that they’re are two pairs in each pack, making it super easy for my not matching socks to be the same length as seen here:

Then I found the mugs that I’ve been seeing around youtube and I only got four of them, but there are 6 designs.

I was confused as to why this tea cup is telling me he loves me a latte, but he’s pink and adorable so I bought him.

Then again this Latte is telling the same Teacup that he’s “my cup of tea” which I only drink tea out of this mug (is that weird?)

I like am a bit doughnut obsessed (they’re my favorite food.) So This one had to come home with me.

And finally my favorite of the bunch is this one:

Which is something Howl would totally say if he could talk, and yes I really am that obsessed with my dog, that I bought both dog socks and a dog mug.

Of course you’re wondering why I bought all these mugs. Especially since I had my two favorite anthro mugs, and my heart mug and my Jack Skellington Mug. That’s because my wonderful husband bought us this:

Yep! We finally got a Keurig. His name is Samwise, and I’m obsessed. Especially with the Snapple Peach Iced Tea or the Starbucks Vanilla flavor. But I really want to try the Chocolate Glazed Donut flavor and the Hazelnut Iced Coffee flavor.
