I’ve been outrageously impatient for spring weather, there’s been more snow at the end of this winter than there has been the rest of winter, but thankfully it’s recently been warmer.

I love this skirt, my cousin bought it for me from H&M the last time we went shopping together. It’s a high waisted jersey midi skirt and it’s really comfortable to wear.

I adore this lipstick, it’s definitely going to be my go too color for spring. It’s a lovely color and it’s long lasting without being outrageously drying.

For Her: Valentines Day

Valentines Day is in less than 3 weeks, I’m so excited for it because it’s my one of my favorite days of the year.

♥ To begin with I think something cozy would be a lovely present, especially if you live in the east right now. Personally, I’ve had my eye on this Supermodel Essentials Hoodie and Boyfriend Pants from Victoria’s Secret. However a nice sweater from J. Crew would be equally as lovely.

♥ If you’re more into a gift that you can use together, I love the idea of a cozy knit throw, a cute throw pillow and then add in a movie, either a new one or perhaps an old favorite between the 2 of you for a snuggly night in.

♥ If you want to get her an actual thing Frends Headphones are really hot right now. The Taylor ones are pictured, but personally I want the Layla ones.

♥ Jewelry is a classic Valentines gift. These Kate Spade Be Mine earrings are especially sweet, but if she’s more into trends then this Roseland Pop bracelet from Baublebar is pretty awesome.

♥ Another classic gift is perfume. I’m really into Atelier Colognes right now, with the Orange Sanguine being my favorite scent.

♥ And finally gift cards are always great, especially if the relationship is new, or you know she’s an extremely picky bookworm or makeup junkie.

I’m actually not going to make wishlist for me this year. This pretty much sums it all up. What would you ladies like for Valentines Day this year?

Blogmas Day 20: What To Wear Christmas Eve

I’m not even going to say that today’s post is late. Late has become my usual time. I’m actually really excited about these two outfits so I’ll just jump right in.

The casual outfit is first. Long line sweater from Gilly Hicks in red, looks festive and covers your bum. Which is important because these leggings from Topshop will keep you cozy and not feeling squished after you consume a plate or two of cookies, no judgements here it’s Christmas the season of cookies. These boots from H&M are too perfect and I adore this Modcloth Typewriter Necklace. Finish off the look with an Emi-Jay headband and you’re adorable and comfortable.

However the outfit I’m really in love with is the dressy outfit this year. This dress from Madewell, and while out of my budget I’m completely in love with it. Add some tights, these are from J.Crew, and these Satin Zara heels to dress it up a bit. Since the dress is embroidered keep it simple with stud earrings like these from Kate Spade and add in a few bracelets for an arm party (Bauble Bar, Bauble Bar and Kate Spade) and you’re good to go. I’m so in love with this outfit, it’s perfect and dressy.

What are you wearing for Christmas Eve? Personally I still have no idea what to wear. I decided not to buy anything new this year and now I’m regretting that decision.
