I have a slight obsession with Target for Home things. It's probably a really good thing that I live an hour away from my closest Target. I posted this picture on Instagram about 3 weeks ago:
There's a pretty random assortment of house things in the cart, like the method cleaner/detergent, some hangers, placemats, a new broom and some pot holders, but none of that stuff is super exciting. However there is a sneak peek into what this post is about.
First I was super excited to find some Valentines Day socks, because I don't know if you know Target socks are my favorite, and the Valentines ones are my very favorite.
The best thing is that they're are two pairs in each pack, making it super easy for my not matching socks to be the same length as seen here:
[caption id="attachment_2246" align="alignnone" width="625"] These happen to be my favorites[/caption]
Then I found the mugs that I've been seeing around youtube and I only got four of them, but there are 6 designs.
I was confused as to why this tea cup is telling me he loves me a latte, but he's pink and adorable so I bought him.
Then again this Latte is telling the same Teacup that he's "my cup of tea" which I only drink tea out of this mug (is that weird?)
I like am a bit doughnut obsessed (they're my favorite food.) So This one had to come home with me.
And finally my favorite of the bunch is this one:
because on the back it says:
Which is something Howl would totally say if he could talk, and yes I really am that obsessed with my dog, that I bought both dog socks and a dog mug.
Of course you're wondering why I bought all these mugs. Especially since I had my two favorite anthro mugs, and my heart mug and my Jack Skellington Mug. That's because my wonderful husband bought us this:
Yep! We finally got a Keurig. His name is Samwise, and I'm obsessed. Especially with the Snapple Peach Iced Tea or the Starbucks Vanilla flavor. But I really want to try the Chocolate Glazed Donut flavor and the Hazelnut Iced Coffee flavor.
Have you bought anything for your house lately? Where's your favorite place to buy home things?

Howl Haul: Martha Stewart Haul
We had some things that we needed for Howl and still hadn't managed to buy. So this past weekend when I was on my buying binge, I figured I'd may as well grab them.
The first and most important thing we picked up was this Pinhead Brush for Long, Medium and Curly hair, for tangles and mats. Howl hates to be brushed with a regular brush and will bite you every chance he gets. However he kinda loves this thing, unless you're brushing his legs, then he still bites you. Please excuse the hair in it, it's a pain to clean and I use it on him daily.
Next we grabbed these can lids, because he gets a fourth of a can a day of wet food, and I got tired of tossing the can in a zip lock bag.
Then the last practical thing I bought was a food scoop. Usually we just scoop it out with the bowl, but that makes it a pain when his canister is near empty. I'll try to include a picture of his canister the next time I do a Howl post, because it's really cute.
[caption id="attachment_2271" align="alignnone" width="625"] Hey this smells like dinner[/caption]
Then on the impractical, but on sale, side of things I grabbed these Squirrel and Nut Dog Cookie Cutters. I plan to make those doggy cupcakes that Anna Saccone-Joly has a recipe for, but instead make them in a cake pan and then cut them with the cookie cutters. Howl isn't a fan of hard treats, so that's the best I can come up with. Unless someone has a soft doggie cookie recipe.
And finally we bought him this 3 ring rope toy, that he absolutely loves because Tug Of War is his favorite game.
As I said before I'm pretty in love with the Martha Stewart Pets brand. Everything seems to work out well for Howl, and looks great too. What's your favorite brand for your pets things?

Caudalie Haul
I adore Caudalie products so when I finally ran out of my exfoliater and all of my eye cream samples I decided to place an order with Caudalie.
I've had a sample of this eye cream before, that I loved so getting it in full size had always been on my to do list.
The Gentle Buffing cream seemed like a good thing to try since my skin is really sensitive and I like to be careful what I put on it.
There was a deal going on at the time that with any $50 purchase you could get a mini divine oil, a hand cream and a mini candle
and as always you get three free samples with your order. I picked out the Vinosouce Moisturizing Sorbet, Vinoperfect Radiance Serum, and the Vinoexpert broad spectrum perfecting day cream.
So far I'm loving everything I bought, but there will be more through reviews at a later date.

Sephora Haul
I mentioned in yesterdays post that I dropped by Sephora to see Maxwell and to pick up a few things I needed. When I say it was to see Maxwell, I'm completely serious. If I just wanted to get the things I was thinking of getting I would have just ordered online and that would have been it. But I trust his advice and I genuinely enjoy talking to him, so whenever I'm unsure about what to buy makeup wise I always make it a point to ask him.
After about 20 minutes of what I'd have to say was whirlwind chatter around the store I ended up with somethings that I'm super excited about and about 4 cents under my budget. Seriously if you're in the Crestview Kentucky area, go to Sephora ask for Maxwell and tell him I sent you, because he's amazing and you're missing out by not going.
I picked up the Nars Pure Radiant Tinted moisturizer: The Clinque Super Primer Universal Face Primer which I'm excited about because after my experience with their skincare I've avoided Clinque. The Hourglass Hidden Corrective Concealer, another brand I'm really excited about trying. and finally new brush heads for my Clarisonic, because my dermatologist has finally okay it's use for me again, but recommended I get a new brush head for it first. I know this haul doesn't have anything exciting in it like a new lip color or blushes, but just wait til next week, and I'll have a teeny tiny haul up. Have you tried any of these things? Anything you've tried that you're loving lately? Lemme know in the comments and don't forget to follow me on bloglovin so you don't miss next weeks haul.

Kate Spade Skinny Mini Necklace Review
For Christmas this year my husband got me a Kate Spade Bow Ring, which I have wanted for ages. But it didn't fit, so we went to go exchange it, and the next size down was much to small. Apparently I'm a 6.5 ring size which Kate Spade just doesn't do. So he decided to exchange it for something else. I decided to leave him to pick it out, since it was a gift we were exchanging, and my husband has wonderful taste anyways.
Knowing that I adore bows, and that I mostly, (read as only) wear silver, he picked up the Skinny Mini Necklace in silver.
I'm a sucker for details and Kate Spade's packaging is just gorgeous. I may or may not have this bag sitting on top of my dress with the tissue paper still just so inside of it.
The necklace itself is well made and is a larger version of the bow that tops the bow rings. I adore the attention to detail right down to the wrapped knot in the center of the bow. I looks less like something that was molded out of silver and more like someone took a piece of molten silver and tied it into a bow then let it harden that way
I love the attention to detail on the jewelry as well. The little bar stamped with Kate Spade New York and the cute little spade charm attached to the clasp of the necklace is not only pretty, but a bit superfluous since it's generally covered by my hair. But it's just that extra touch that says to me anyways that every part of our jewelry should be lovely even the bits that won't be seen.
I've worn this necklace a handful of times since we made the exchange in January, and I sort of unceremoniously debuted it here in yesterday's outfit post. This is definitely become one of my absolute favorite pieces of jewelry I own, and I've worn it dressed up like you saw yesterday, but also plenty of times with nice cozy outfits as well.
I prefer delicate and dainty jewelry, so this is kind of my version of a statement necklace. Large enough to be noticed, but delicate enough to not overwhelm. It can be worn with nearly anything and look absolutely perfect. It's become my go to necklace and I completely recommend it and really any Jewelry from Kate Spade. It's all so lovely, and well priced.
Do you have any Jewelry from Kate Spade? What's your go to Jewelry piece?
Later this week I'll have a makeup haul from Sephora (I visited Maxwell) and a ramble about a T-Shirt that I'm completely in love with. And another haul that will feature home items.

Stylish Sundays: Valentine
Since Friday was Valentines day, I thought I'd show you what I wore when we went out to dinner to celebrate, and what my present that I hinted about on instagram is.
First my present since I'm just dying over it still:
It's the Kate Spade Cove Street Irini, and it's absolutely perfect. I am obsessed with Kate Spade and have wanted a K.S. Purse for quite sometime. Since my husband noticed I've just been grabbing my wallet when I go out lately, he decided that this one would be perfect because it's small and it's a crossbody.
I love the lining because it's brightly colored and makes grabbing anything an absolute breeze, which isn't a problem right now because my wallet takes up most of the space, I need to get a smaller wallet, and I've already picked out a couple I'm in love with.
This is honestly the most perfect present I could ever ask for.
To dinner I wore:
V.S. Pink Long Sleeve Top, The Limited Tweed Mini, Hue Opaque Black Tights, Sam Edelman Calypso Flats in Black, Kate Spade Cove Street Irini Bag
Kate Spade Patent Bow Belt
Kate Spade Square Stud Earrings and Skinny Mini Necklace.
On My Face: Nars Sheer Glow, Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer, YSL Shocking Mascara, Caudalie Lip Balm, The Balm Frat Boy, The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer, The Balm Hot Mama worn as shadow, Lancome Brown Eyeliner, Lancome Metallic Taupe shadow
All said it was a lovely day. What did you do for Valentines?

The Balm Cosmetics Haul
I've been hearing good things about The Balm for awhile now, but I'm always hesitant to buy anything that I'm not able to swatch. But I know that Miss Cannady loves Hot Mama and that Leighannsays is a big fan of their products so I decided to pick somethings up.
I picked up Hot Mama:
Frat Boy:
and Mary Lou Manizer
I couldn't resist swatching before these photos were taken, so sorry about that. And Speaking of Swatches, I made sure to do a set of swatches for you guys.
[caption id="attachment_2198" align="alignnone" width="625"] Left To Right: Frat Boy, Hot Mama, Mary Lou Manizer[/caption]
I haven't worn them yet, but I kinda really can't wait too. It'll be nice to wear something other than Deep Throat by Nars for a change. Because even though I'm pretty sure it's my all time favorite, sometimes I just want something different.
I definitely want to get some eyeshadows from the Balm next, but I'm torn between Meet Matte Nude or Nude'Tude. Is there anything else you think I need to try from The Balm?
