OOTD: Grey Sky Morning

I haven't taken a lot of photos lately because I've been feeling very uninspired, or the weather wasn't cooperating, and it just hasn't been that great of a month. But it was a beautiful dreary day the other day, and I was feeling my look so I decided to try and get back in the swing of things.

Coat: Express, Sweater: H&M, Jeans: Gap, Socks: H&M Shoes: Rampage

On My Face: Sonia Kashuk Tinted Moisturizer, The Balm Frat Boy Blush, The Balm Mary Lou Manizer, Marc Jacobs The Lolita Palette, NYX Liquid eyeliner, Maybelline Brow Drama, Makeup Forever Smokey Lash, Nars Cruella,

Necklace: Tiny Owl origins unknown

Dreary, grey, rainy weather is my favorite kind, I just think the sky looks so beautiful when it's rainy outside. And I love any reason to pull out this trench coat. I've had it for a few years, and actually I got it on sale. What I love most about it is there are touches of coral in the lining, but it's not noticeable when you wear it, so it's like secret pops of color.

This is actually the last set of photos you will see where I have red hair. I've changed it and we have one more step to do thanks to a huge snow storm, but I'm going to have a whole huge post on that for my next post, and I've very very excited about it. I can't wait to show off my new hair.

Valentines Night In vs. Night Out

Valentines Day is coming very soon, and I am very excited for it. Personally I'm not going out on a fancy date this year, but I made outfit plans for a night out or a night in.

Night Out

If I were going out this year, I'd probably keep it classic with a little black aline dress with a touch of lace to make it more romantic. A cute pair of heart earrings and a red bag for a pop of color. I'd finish the look with a pair of black heels and loose romantic curls. This is a timeless look, one that I absolutely adore. I'd wear a soft pink lipstick like Roman Holiday by nars and keep the rest of my makeup simple and classic.

Night In
For a night in, either alone or with my husband I love to be cozy. I'd wear an oversized flannel, and cozy joggers. To keep warm I'd wear my Cally slippers from Minnetonka. I personally have these in red and they're so soft and cozy. I'd finish this look off with a messy bun and a freshly scrubbed face, but then again I have been married for six years. If your relationship is newer keep your face bright with a bit of tinted moisturizer, highlighter, mascara and some lip balm. Put your hair in a ponytail and curls the ends.

I hope that no matter your plans for Valentines, you have a lovely evening, whether you're spending it with the girls or your special guy.
