Happy Easter! This post is going up late because I had a family day yesterday.
As
you saw in my haul on Friday I picked up some Floral pants and an
Oatmeal colored Tee. Since I'm clearly 6 years old I couldn't wait to
wear them, and decided that even though I wasn't going anywhere with
nothing special planned, there was no reason I couldn't get a bit dolled
up. So I did...
and then proceeded to take way too many pictures.
I'm
wearing an Oatmeal colored Tee, Floral Pants and a Rose Gold Hair
Barrette you can't see from H&M, Studded Loafers by Wanted that I
got I DSW, and a Pen Necklace that my good friend Mrs. Cannady got me
for my Birthday, which was inspired by my obsession with Joan from Mad
Men's Necklace that I was obsessed with.
Sometimes I forget what an amazing Photographer my husband
is. It's easy to overlook that when he's always taking outfit photos
for me and we're in a rush to get going somewhere else. However this
time we didn't have anywhere else to be, and were just taking photos for
the sake of taking photos.
I adore they way the photos turned out, they ended up being less posed for outfit photos and more like an actual photo shoot.
So
lets focus on the details. I adore the pen necklace and even more so
that it actually works. I feel like it made this outfit less trendy and a
bit more professional. Like I could easily be someones assistant
somewhere. It's probably one of my favorite gifts I've ever received
from a friend, next to a tote bag that T randomly snuck into my house
one day to surprise me with.
And
the colors in these pants are amazing. They're bright and springy, but I
feel like the black background and the silhouette of them tones it down
a bit. The fabric is really nice, and they fit amazing.
The
Oatmeal tee is super comfortable and was really easy to wear. I
definitely want this top in every possible color it's made in. I can
think of a thousand different ways to wear it.
My makeup was really simple just Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation in B10, Lancôme
Eyeshadows that the names have rubbed off the bottom, but they are
neutrals, YSL Shocking Mascara, Nars Deep Throat Blush and you'll find
out what's on my lips on Monday.
Clearly
I need my bangs trimmed, but I'm liking the messy look for now. On my
nails, which you can catch a glimpse of in this picture is another sneak
peek at an upcoming blog post.
And
finally the arty black and white shot. I actually adore this picture,
and am vain enough to want a print of it to hang in my house. My husband
actually has some amazing black and whites he's taken around our town
and the next town over. I'm crazy in love with some of them. I'll do a
picture post of my favorites sometime this summer if he'll let me.

Clothing Haul or Spring Blooms
Last week one of my closest friends O was in town and we managed to find sometime to do some shopping. It was a short trip because we were in a rush, but even rushed shopping is good shopping.
We only went to H&M because well have you seen my closet lately? It's 90% H&M and I swear that percentage is climbing each time I go shopping. I just don't seem to find anything anywhere else that I love and that's in a price range I'm willing to pay.
I was originally only looking to get a Tee Shirt and Floral pants I'd seen the last time I was there that I regretted not buying, but I ended up getting a Dress as well.
The Tee is a super simple sheer oatmeal colored tee that's long enough to wear comfortably with leggings, but looks great with everything. It's the perfect easy throw on and go summer top and I plan on wearing it to death this summer. I also plan on getting more just like it because it was only $9.95.
Floral pants are super trendy right now, and I saw these the last time I was in H&M and fell in love with them. My husband said they looked like old lady pants on the hanger, but I'm pretty sure he likes them on me. Since it's so trendy I didn't want to pay a lot for a pair, and these were perfect because they were on sale for $9.95 from $24.95.
I had a 20% of coupon and I thought this dress was just darling. I need to wear a slip with it, and a bandeau because it's really sheer and the arm holes are super low, but I love it anyway. It's really lady like, and it makes me think of the dresses Emma Stone wore in The Help, but the need for a bandeau makes it feel super modern. I think I'm going to hit up VS this weekend and pick up a peach colored one to match, because I am dying to wear it. Probably this one.
I actually might grab another to go under that oatmeal colored tee. Bandeau's never stay put for me, but I love the look so I really like the idea of the racer back bralettes. And they aren't that expensive which is awesome.
I think the best part of this shopping trip was being with O. Usually I shop by myself or with my husband, but sometimes you need a girlfriend with you.
I have another haul that will probably be up sometime next week, that is makeup related...again. I know I have a problem, but I can't help it.

YSL Cool Guava Review or Hey, Look At My Lips
Fist of all, sorry I've been MIA this week and a lot of last week, I got busy. I did manage to have lots of pictures taken, so now that I actually have time to sit an write them there will be plenty of posts coming up.
I don't know many girls that aren't lip product junkies. I certainly am. So it's was probably no surprise when I picked up a YSL Volupte Sheer Candy Glossy Balm in #9 Cool Guava a couple weeks ago at Sephora.
I just couldn't help it, I mean look at how gorgeous the packaging is:
and the color is just absolutely beautiful:
I'm completely in love with this and I can promise you'll be seeing more of the Volupte Sheer Candy Glossy Balm's in the future. I've already got my eye on #4 Succulent Pomegranate.

So I clearly I could not leave that at Sephora, it needed to come home with me.
As I mentioned above the packaging is amazing. It's not just pretty, it feels amazing, and the product travels smoothly in the package. I especially lof the attention to detail, behind the gold YSL emblem, the color is different on each one, so you can easily differentiate each one at a glance.
I had a friend ask me if it wore true to color on the lips. I think it does, but I'll let you judge that for yourselves. I have before and after pictures, but the lighting and my makeup are different because these pictures weren't taken on the same day.
Here's a before picture:
I'm not wearing anything in this picture except chapstick. Smith's Strawberry Rosebud Salve to be exact.
Here's my lips with the YSL Volupte Sheer Candy in Cool Guava:
Cool Guava is a light natural pink that is really glossy. Sort of the perfect cross between a lipstick and a lipgloss. It also feels amazing on the lips, is moisturizing,
doesn't sink into fine lines (which I have a lot of) and stays put for
quite awhile. Even a few hours later the gloss was faded but the color was still there, and that was after I ate. I'd say it wears pretty true to color when you factor in that it's a sheer lip product. I'm completely in love with this and I can promise you'll be seeing more of the Volupte Sheer Candy Glossy Balm's in the future. I've already got my eye on #4 Succulent Pomegranate.

Stylish Sundays or Taking A Cozy Walk
Sometimes you just want to be comfortable, and that's totally okay. But there is a right and wrong way to do comfortable.
Right is a long shirt and leggings like you'll see below. Wrong is ratty nasty sweats, like you'll see on most women in my town. I don't know why people think it's okay to walk out of their house looking like that. I can only assume that they have no self respect. That makes me Sad. Like Sheldon looking at stupid people Sad.
I woke up last Saturday and decided to talk a walk with my family. So I got dressed in my coziest comfiest Saturday outfit and I was good to go. Then I decided I felt cute and convinced my husband to grab his camera. It was really lovely outside. I really enjoy grey days, and it started raining on the way home and rained for the rest of the day. Honestly, it was the perfect day.
We decided to go down to our local park, because they have a nice trail with a pretty wooded area. I actually do a lot of my pictures here, because the park is so close to my house and it has a lot of pretty or interesting areas for photos.
On my face is my Dr. Jart+ Black Label BB Cream, Nars Deep Throat Blush, YSL Shocking Mascara and YSL Volupte Sheer Candy in Cool Guava. I know, it's the exact same. I can't help it, it's simple and it works. My hair is a wreck. This was not an intentional messy bun, this was a my hair won't do a damn thing so it's messy, oh well bun.
I'm wearing my new Twill H&M Jacket, Gap Studded Tee, Hue Leggings and Coral and Tan H&M Flats. I love this jacket,it's warm and it has such a pretty print inside. I'm pretty fond of the Utility style of it, and that thanks to a snap the hood always looks perfect. The Top is an old favorite, I've had for two years, and every time I put it on I always think I should buy more tees from Gap. Obviously I adore these Hue leggings. They're opaque and comfortable, plus they hit my ankle at just the right spot. I was totally not a good idea to wear these shoes on the walk because they were new and it was not the best time to break them in.
Despite the face that it gloomy out I still needed my sunglasses, these are from H&M. I'm wearing Illamasqua's Speckle on my nails. It's gorgeous, I'm in love, I don't think I need to say anymore about it. But I probably will, later. I don't really go anywhere with out them. I adore H&M's sunglasses, okay I kinda adore everything from there. I swear about 90% of my closet is H&M. I just can't help it, the prices are great and the quality is amazing. I'm a bit obsessed.
Okay I have to be a bit honest about something with you guys. My husband is kinda a professional photographer. He's currently working as a programmer, but yeah. So that's why my photos always look so great. I'm learning very slowly to take photos, but for the most part every photo you see on this blog has been taken by my husband, except the crappy iPhone pictures. Okay even most of those. They're only crappy because they were taken on an iPhone rather than his DSLR.
However, there is very little editing ever done. He'll fix the lighting if need be or he might clean up my face if I'm suffering from a particularly bad break out. Which sometimes can be a lot of work. But my product photos are true to real life color, and my review photos of the product on my face are as they appear in real life. He doesn't need to do a lot of editing because he knows how to work his camera, and how to tell a person to pose so they look nice.
We don't do the make me look thinner, or add extra "makeup" to my face. If I can't apply it properly myself, and if I don't look good in my pose that's my fault. While he could fix it, I prefer for him not too.
So I told you all this to say, yes I am that pale in real life. That's not a trick of the lighting, or editing or whatever. I really do look like an extra from Interview With The Vampire all on my own.

Gift Guide for Knitters, Embriodiers or Crocheters or What to buy that weird Aunt
I know it can be super hard to shop for the crafty people in your life. Especially if they're the sort of person who makes everything. There are a few virtually fail safe things that you can buy come Christmas, Birthday, Mother's Day or Just Because, and I'm going to tell you them. And then you might feel sort of dumb, because some of them are obvious. But don't, because I didn't think of them either until I started knitting myself.
If you work with your hands a lot yourself, you've probably noticed they get a bit dry and haggard looking. This is 10 bazillion times worse if you're a yarn crafter. For some reason the yarn or thread just seems to suck the moisture right out of your hands. Another pro or con is that the scent of whatever cream your using clings to what your making. I have tried a lot of creams and lotions and these are my favorites that I've had.
1. Philosophy Field Of Flowers Lotion, I haven't had this specific scent before, but I have had their lotion and I loved it. They all smell amazing and they're just lovely to use.
2. Soap and Glory's Hand Food is amazing, it smells wonderful, like CoCo Mademoiselle to some people. Plus it's called hand food for a reason, it makes your hands feel amazing
3. L'Occitane is definitely the most luxe of the 3 choices. My favorite is Pivoine Flora which smells like Peonies. The packaging is just gorgeous, and the lotion is enriched with Shea Butter. These are definitely my absolute favorite.
If you don't want to go the fancy hand cream route, you can always gift them a new pair of needles if they're a knitter or crocheter. I recommend something sort of novelty like Knit Lites which I have a pair of and I love them. Otherwise I recommend a pair of Bamboo needles or crochet hook, which are what I use personally.
Luxurious yarn is another lovely gift, I really love Plymouth Baby Alpaca Grande, it's super soft and cozy and is one of my favorites, but there are also Cashmere and Angora yarns which are absolutely amazing. If you're going to go this route then I really recommend asking the person behind the counter how much you need for x project, such as a pair of socks, sweater, blanket, or a scarf. It's very frustrating having great yarn and not being able to make anything with it.
You can also purchase kits to make certain items like stuffed toys or a certain pattern for a hat or baby blanket. I recommend going into a yarn shop to look at those, because the person working there can usually tell you if you actually need more yarn or any other specific tools to make the item in the package.
Finally there is always books. My personal favorites are the Stitch and Bitch series by Debbie Stoller, but the Vogue Stitchionary series is also really good. I actually taught myself to knit from the Stitch and Bitch Series and have managed to loose 2 copies of the first book now. I plan on buying myself another copy very soon. I actually hope to someday own all of both series. There are also several good books filled with patterns and how to fix mistakes and all kinds of tips and tricks for knitters, which are usually sold in the Yarn Shop.
And if you don't want to do any of that buy them an amazing scarf or a lovely blanket, because they knit these things to keep people warm and cozy out of love, and you may not be able to make them something yourself, but giving the gift of warmth still says I Love You.

Another Haul or I only went for one thing I swear
About a week ago I ran out of my face mask, and I needed to replace it. I also had a few other things I was thinking about buying and I might have accidentally actually bought them on purpose. Okay I totally did.
First I picked up the Bedhead Styleshots in Epic Volume and the Philosophy Bodywash in Love Sweet Love from Ulta, and I've been using them for a little while now and I'm completely in love with them.
Then I went oto H&M and picked up this great Green Twill jacket and those adorable Coral and Tan Flats.
Finally from Sephora I bought the Murad Acne Complex 30 day kit and Illamasqua's Speckle Nail Polish which has matte glitter in it that gives it a sort of birds egg appearance that I absolutely adore.
In the Murad Kid is a Cleanser, Acne Treatment Gel, 2 moisturizers, Acne Spot Treatment, and finally a Clarifying Mask.
I'm actually doing a complete review on this, including a picture of my face before I started it, and I have been taking notes in my phone as I go through it, so no judgements.

The Brits have all the best makeup or I'm in love with Illamasqua
I went to Sephora a few days ago for a new face mask and plans to pick up the Nails Inc polish in Stratford. They didn't have it, and I was absolutely heartbroken over it, so I decided to console myself with a polish from Illamasqua. You'll see everything else I bought tomorrow, in my haul post. But today I felt like doing a Veruca Salt style post and talking about things I want.
The Polish I picked up is from their new spring collection IMPERFECTION, Speckle. So of course I'm completely in love with it. Then I realized that I've never tried anything else from the brand, and that needs to be remedied very very soon. So I had a little look at their website.
Now I'm sure you've noticed that I post wishlists and gift guides kinda frequently (The gift guide for knitters is coming soon, but I haven't quite patterned out all the details yet - did ya see what I did there?). This is because I constantly have a bunch of them in Google Drive, and the notes on my phone and in my little bloggy book, and anywhere else I can jot down things I want. Sometimes writing it down helps, other times it only makes it worse. This time it made it worse.
When you factor in that Illamasqua is a British Beauty Brand and is a bit avaunt-guard in their color range, and products, it was bound to be love for me. I just can't help it. I mean I wouldn't wear lime green opaque lipgloss, but I sure as hell love to look at it. Bright pink however I am all over that. It might not suit my skintone, and my husband won't kiss me, but still bright lips, cheeks and nails are my thing.
So here is my "want list" of Illamasqua items.
First up is the Powder Blush Duo in Lover and Hussy. These colors are bright and beautiful but still very wearable. I'm completely in love with them. I also really want Sophie and Nymph which I completely blame on Haley from Beauty Rambles. She has them both and they look gorgeous, come to think of it she also has Hussy and it looks amazing on her.
And from the Cream Blush Range Rude, Dixie and Libido. Libido actually looks terrifying in the swatch, but if you apply it very lightly I think it would give you an amazing flushed glow.
So of course then I'll be needing their new Blush Up Brush. I'm certain it would take me ages to learn to use it, but it's something new and I don't feel like I properly apply my blush anyway.
Then I have a ton of the Lipcolors I'm in love with. I adore that they do lip swatches on the website so you can see how the color looks on. Immodest is my favorite, it's a gorgeous matte bright pink, and despite that description I could totally see this being my favorite every day lipstick. I'm also a huge fan of Obey, Over, Scandal, and Eurydice, ooh, ooh, ooh and Brink and Magnetism. And those are just the lipsticks.
From the Sheer Lipglosses I want Torture, Devine, Electrify, and Lily Rose. The sheer glosses are beautiful and definitely suitable for daily wear. Perfection for spring and summer nearly barefaced makeup. Just something to make your lips look glossy and kissable.
I'm only completely in love with 2 of the intense lipglosses though and those are Mistress and Indulge. They're both very bright, but they could easily be pulled off with a mostly bare face and some serious mascara, but I would probably skip the eyeliner.
I'm kinda interested in trying their Light Liquid Foundation or maybe their Skin Base Foundation. I know I love my Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua and I think it's the absolute perfect foundation, which I'm running very low on, so I'm currently using Dr. Jart+'s Black Label BB cream, but I still think these would be interesting to try. I have no clue what shade I'd be since I'm the absolute lightest color in the Chanel Foundation and the BB Cream doesn't come in shades.
I'm also kinda interested in the Masquara, because while I adore my YSL Shocking Mascara, it is very Bam in your face and sometimes you need something that's a bit less.
Which brings me finally to the Nails. Fragile, Mottle, and Scarce are gorgeous speckle polishes like the much beloved namesake polish pictured above and I'm in love. And being that I'm generally obsessed with polishes I'm also really in love with the look of: Lament, Gamma, Nomad, Rare, Noble, Collide, Obsess, Devotee, and of course Raindrops and Pink Raindrops because aside from the names of the last two they're actually gorgeous.
I'm more than aware that the above list is so full of things I want that even Veruca Salt would be ashamed, but I can't help it everything is so gorgeous that I want to collect it all like Fafnir the Dragon collects treasure.

Stylish Sundays or Comic Books
I know today's post is going up late, it's been a very busy day,and I just lost track of time.
There is a bit of a back story behind the local I chose for this weeks outfit pictures.
My dad collects comics, he has since he was a kid. He actually taught me to read using the names on his Character Cards. That's not the actual name of the cards, but they're like baseball cards for comic book characters. Both he and my mother play role playing games. That's actually adorably how they met.
I spent a lot of time as a child exploring comic shops because of this, most specifically Comic Book World. So when a comic shop opened up a few towns over from where I live I had to check it out. Then I discovered the owner had hand painted on a super cool Spiderman on the side of his shop, and had a cool poster collage on his window. So I decided that it was the perfect place to take this weeks photos, and after obtaining permission did just that. So to make a long story short (Too Late!) lets jump into the outfit post.
On my face is Dr. Jart+ Black Label BB Cream, YSL Mascara, Nars Deep Throat and Tarte's Lipsurgence In Joy. And you can't see it but surprise, surprise on my nails is Cheyne Walk by Nails Inc. I know you're all so stunned, I just never use that color
I swear my hair isn't that blond in real life, it's just the lighting.
This outfit was really easy and comfortable, but I felt like it didn't look like I thought it would when I planned it out on my head. While the Images are great, I feel like this wasn't the most flattering outfit I've ever worn. So why did I put it up? Because this isn't stylized, these outfits are actually things I wear in my day to day life. After I we took these photos, I went shopping. That haul will be up in the next couple of days.
P.S. When I was little I wanted to be Kitty Pride or Jubilee.

Lazy Post or The Shopaholic Tag
You guys I'm totally sick right now. I had to leave a girls night sleepover last night sick, and I'm a bit disgruntled about it. I've kinda be sick all week, so that's why you haven't really gotten any posts outta me. I needed to fix that, so you get a Lazy Post.
Also known as a tag post, specifically the shopaholic tag.
1. Are you a Shopaholic?
A. Yes, Rebecca Bloomwood is my Idol.
2. How would you classify your style?
A. Generally, I wouldn't. It's best described as a cross between Taylor Swift and Kirsten Stewart so Edgy/Lady-like?
3. What store can you not leave without buying something?
A. H&M, and usually if I'm come in for something specific, I buy something else too. Oops.
4. Where do you find the best deals?
A. H&M, I love that store. It's my favorite ever.
5. What designer are you willing to splurge for?
A. Kate Spade for accessories and Sam Edelman for shoes.
6. Do you have a go to shopping outfit?
A. No, I wear whatever. I usually know what I'm going for, and I have a some good basics so I generally don't worry about stuff not going.
7. What is your guilty pleasure (Not including makeup)?
A. Guilty Pleasure? Pajamas, and sweatpants, especially the Gilly Hicks ones, I ADORE those.
8. What is one staple clothing piece you cannot live without?
A. Gap Jegging Jeans, they're my all time favorite jeans, and nine times out of ten if you see me in jeans it's those.
9. What is a trend that you hope never goes out of style?
A. Jeggings.
10. What is a trend you did love that went out of style too quickly?
A. All the trends I can think of that I've loved are still around.
11. Who is your Fashion Icon?
Stacy London and Jessica Quirk. Hands down my favorites
Alright, I tag everyone, but specifically:

I'm absolutely loving these ladies blogs right now and if you're not already following them you should check them out.
I plan on doing a random sort of gift guide here soon, about what to buy for someone who knits, as there are lots of bits that are absolutely lovely to a knitter or would be for a beginning knitter. General gift guides are great and I do those for each Holiday, but I plan on sprinkling in these sorts of guides for people who have specific hobbies which will make your shopping tailored to that person a bit more.
I hope you've all had a better time of it lately than I have, and I hope this illness gets gone very soon. Until then regale me with tales of your fabulous lives in the comments below.

Nail Change or Cheyne Walk
I know I haven't done a Nail Change post in a while. There's a reason for that. A Purple, Yellow, Orange, Green, Shiney, Duo Chrome reason.
I bought Cheyne Walk about a Month ago, and I have only taken it off my nails once for a few days when I put on Ciate's Cupcake Queen, then two days later it was back to Cheyne Walk. Here's a crappy iPhone picture for evidence:
I absolutely love this color, it wears well on the nails, and it's warm and springy and it just makes me so happy. I don't think I've ever worn a polish for this long before.
I will admit I am currently wearing something else, but I haven't uploaded it to my pinterest yet. I just got it on Saturday and put it on that night. It's Illamasqua Speckle, and it's another shade of purple. So apparently I'm completely in love with purple on my nails.

Stylish Sundays Or Going Dotty
I kinda really loved this weeks outfit. It was super comfortable, and pretty much my if I were 5 years old outfit. It's all my favorite things all at once.
First on my face the only thing I've changed in my usual routine is I'm wearing Lancôme Rouge in Love Ever So Sweet on my lips. I love it. The rest is my bog standard YSL Mascara, Dr. Jart+ BB Cream, and Nars Deep Throat Blush. I let my hair air dry naturally and then brushed it out so it wouldn't be as curly. On my nails is the Nails Inc Cheyne Walk, I adore this polish still and have been wearing it for nearly a month straight.
For my outfit I'm wearing a Lace Tank from a local store and a H&M Jacket
H&M Jeans that I polka dotted myself,
my Red Hunters
and my Kate Spade Gumdrop studs but you can't see them.
I loved this outfit, but it was actually much to cold to be wearing it. I bought that jacket in the Summer and it's just super thin cotton so it actually doesn't provide anymore warmth than a long sleeve tee would have and it was 40 degrees out that day. The lace tank was super thin, and as you can see in a few of the shots, the lining doesn't go all the way down to the bottom of the lace.
Other than those two issues though I was pretty in love with this outfit. The pants make me feel like a kid but in a good way. Carefree and happy, not immature. This outfit was really fun to way and as you can see by the top picture I had a blast taking the photos for it.
I'm also really in love with this wall behind me. It's near the river in my home town and I felt that it was the perfect setting for this outfit.
So readers, what is it that gives you that Carefree, Happy feeling? and if you can't name something, I recommend you go find it.

Beauty Wish List or Spring Has Sprung
Spring is in the air and I am very excited about it. The only thing I don't like about Spring is roses because I'm hardcore, can't walk past them in the grocery store with out sneezing, allergic to them.
Spring fever has hit me hard this year. I'm so ready to switch to spring scents and colors. And I've complied quite a wish list.
I'm really in love with these body washes from Philosophy. I really want either Field of Flowers Peony Blossom or Love Sweet Love. Also the perfumes that match. I can't help it I'm pretty in love with both of them.
While I'm talking scents I'm also really in love with the way the Tigi Bedhead Style Shots Epic Volume smells. Most of the time I buy my shampoo/conditioner based on the way it smells and not for what it says it'll do. Sometimes it does what it says it will, mostly it doesn't. But you can always count on the scent.
Then there's these two colors from Nails Inc Swiss Cottage and Stratford. I can pick, I won't pick, I love them both, I need them both!
Then another in the can't decide club are Sugarbomb and Georgia from Benefit. I'll have to swatch these to find out which one would work for my skin.
Then Highbeam is kinda nessacary. I don't own a highlighter and I want to be dewy this spring. I had a sample of Highbeam before and I loved it.
Then finally on the beauty front I'm completely regretting not buying YSL Succulent Pomegranate Sheer Volupte Candy too. I'm so in love with Cool Guava that it's all I want to wear. There will be more of these in my future.
Okay Readers, I might have already ordered a couple of the things above. If I did, then I can promise there will be a haul when they come in.
Do you change anything in your routine come spring?

New Hairs
Remember when i said i was going to do this? Well I did it, and I adore it. And this is how it looked after the blow dry and style.
She used all Chi products on my hair right down to the Flat Iron, except for the Paul Mitchell skinny serum. I've never used Chi before, but if I get back into straightening my hair everyday again, I will. I loved the way the products made my hair feel.
Please excuse my expression it was about 11 pm when these were taken.
I really do love it, I was just very very tired.

Then I washed my hair and discovered my hair has the natural curls/wave that it used to have back. Guess all it needed was layers to take out the weight of it. You'll be seeing a lot of those in the future, I don't usually heat style my hair.
So readers, what do you think of my new hairs?

Accidental Shopping Or Whatever
So I mentioned on Saturday that I was going to go get my hair cut, which I did. Which you'll see tomorrow, or Wednesday, I haven't decided. But I got there early, and I might have accidentally went shopping. Okay, not might have, did. Oops, whatever.
But I'm absolutely in love with everything I bought. So I forgive myself.
First I found this gorgeous dress in JCPenney. It's the brand Olsenboyle. So I'm not surprised I love it, because I adore the Olsens.
Black and white Skater dress with a sweetheart neckline and sheer fabric at the top and a black waist belt, that'sactually not bad quailty. Its amazing, and on trend, whatever.
I haven't actually shopped for myself in JCP since before their rebrand and price change. I kinda found a lot I love in there and you can expect to see more from there on here in the future.
Then I went to H&M, what that place is like my Mecca or something. Yes, that's rude, whatever. They have so much cute stuff right now it's painful. I completely regret not buying more while I was in there, but I didn't. What I bought though was awesome.
A high necked almost cap sleeved coral/hot pink (whatever) skater dress. I'm so in love with this, and when I sent a dressing room pic to O. (one of my beasties) she said I looked hot in it. I agreed so I bought it.
You've noticed a pattern haven't you? I purposely bought two skater dresses in one shopping trip. I almost bought three, but I restrained myself, barely. I set out looking for skater dresses. It's because of the flippy skirt. It's also because I'm obsessed with FleurDeForce's style, and they both look like something she'd wear. I also think Leigh Ann says could appreciate these dresses, considering her last OOTD. It was, as always, amazing. I kinda really love her. It's whatever though.
Then while I was at H&M I fell in love with a necklace, so I bought that too.
It's a statement necklace, that has lots of dangly silver leaf things. I love it, I'm doing to wear it with everything.
Then I went to Journeys, and did a bad, bad thing. I bought more shoes. From a brand I already own. In two different colors. Whatever.
They're white Converse.
I needed them. Remember I've been a bit obsessed with them. Starting in my The Romance In Traveling post, and How Shoes Change The Attitude Of An Outfit, and then How To Wear Converse. All of those posts focused on white Converse. So I kinda needed them. I'm so in love with them.
I kinda blame Nikki Phillippi for pushing me over the edge on these. I also blame her for the mint (oh, or maybe peach!) vans I plan on buying in the future. But since she told me to on twitter I think she's cool with that. My husband, however, may kill me. Bury me with my shoes if he does.
Do you think it would be too much to wear them with the coral dress and a neon purple belt that I plan on going back to H&M and buying? No? Good, because I'm gonna wear it that way anyway.
Be proud on me though, I walked through Sephora twice and didnt buy anything. It was so hard. Okay and the first time, it wasn't for lack of trying. I went in to see if they had my beloved Nails Inc Metallic polish in another color, but that Sephora didn't. I was so heartbroken.
There is a major over use of whatever in this post. I probably could have come up with a better way to say things. But ya know what? It's whatever.

Stylish Sundays or Kirsten Stewart Inspired
Originally my idea was for a Marie Antoinette inspired outfit, the movie obviously, but as I began playing in my closet I found it transformed more into something I could see Kirsten Stewart wearing.
I don't know about you, but I actually really love Kirsten Stewart's style. Honestly if you smash her style and Taylor Swifts style together, I think you'd come pretty close to what's my closet. This outfit felt like it really straddled the line between dressy and grungy, and its probably one of my favorites.
Top: Madewell Earrings: Unknown
Skirt: The Limited Bracelets: Tiffany's and Gift Nails: Nails Inc Cheyne Walk
Shoes: Raspberry Converse High Tops
Makeup: Dr. Jart+ Black Label BB Cream, Nars Deep Throat, Too Faced Romantic Eye Pallete, Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eyeliner Pencil in Boubon, YSL Shocking Mascara, YSL Seer Voulpte Candy in Cool Guava
These last two pictures are really just for show. I especially love the second to the last picture. This photo shoot was a major challenge for both me and my husband. It was only about 40 degrees Fahrenheit outside, and as you can see it was full dark. It was warmer earlier in the day, and we planned to get out earlier to shoot, but the best laid plans and something about mice...I dunno.
I was absolutely freezing in all of these shots. But it was still a lot of fun, and I feel like the final two shots are absolutely amazing. I guess I'm just really lucky I have such a great photographer.
